Free cellphone service, how to apply, reviews of different providers, experiences with them both good and bad, this is where we talk about it.
[Safelink: Owned by and part of tracfone, this seems to be the most friendly and easy way to get ma free phone. Fast, good customer service, nice free phones, and the service plan is a good deal. NO CHARGE unless you need to buy a lot of minutes or data. SafeLink's website

ok, it got here. VERY nice. They sent me a decent smart phone, no problems setting it up. I added a 16Gb micro SD card to it and plugged it in to charge, then started it and it walked me through setup. (!) Then I went to work customizing rturning stuff off and securing. Decent screen, no hiccups burps or sneezes, it works acceptably fast. And it's android 8.1.0 (Oreo 2nd generation). This rates 2 thumbs up! And on Sunday the glass shattered. No impact, no significant pressure. So I called. No can do, not fix not replace... Ya gotta buy one. Well grumble... But if you by a $15 minute pack there is an Alcatel that would be free. So I did.
Hint: if you get a free phone, put a gorilla glass protector on the front, and find a protector for the case.

So, I bought a minutes card, and got a free phone with it.. And the phone is VERY good. Advice; as soon as it arrives get a case and a protective glass face shield and PUT THEM ON PROPERLY, and it should last quite a while. This is looking to be decent deal. Hmmm, watch out for fish-hooks...
